Intimate Classics: Calder Quartet

Presented by the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, the up-close-and-personal Intimate Classics series offers locals the chance to experience chamber music expertly performed in the intimate setting of the Center Theater. Attendees have the option of completing their theater experience with a pre-performance gourmet dinner.

Called "outstanding" and "superb" by the New York Times, the Calder Quartet performs a broad range of repertoire at an exceptional level, always striving to channel the true intention of the composer. The string quartet is made up of Benjamin Jacobson and Andrew Bulbrook on violin, Jonathan Moerschel on viola and Eric Byers on cello.

Tickets range from $20 to $40. Children 12 and under get in free. Pre-show dinner available for an additional fee. Purchase tickets online at www.artcenter.org or by calling the box office at (800) 988-4253.
