Presented by the California Center for the Arts, Escondido, the
up-close-and-personal Intimate Classics series offers locals the chance to
experience chamber music expertly performed in the intimate setting of the Center Theater. Attendees have the option of completing their theater
experience with a pre-performance gourmet dinner.
Known for her "emotional intensity," as declared by the Los Angeles Times, Icelandic cellist Sæunn Thorsteinsdóttir is a soloist, chamber musician, teaching artist and classical music advocate. She has graced some of the greatest halls in the world including Carnegie Hall in New York and Disney Hall in Los Angeles. Accompanied by Elizabeth Joy Rhee on piano.
Tickets range from $20 to $40. Children 12 and under get in
