Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony Scheduled at Temecula Duck Pond

Residents are invited to usher in the holidays by joining the city's Community Services Department for the event scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Temecula Duck Pond.

Preparations are underway for the City of Temecula's 16th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting.  

Residents are invited to usher in the holidays by joining the city's Community Services Department for the event scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 5 at Temecula Duck Pond.

"As excitement builds, you will join Mayor Mike Naggar and other members of the city council and community services commission for a countdown to the lighting of the City’s LIVE Christmas Tree," according a news release.

The countdown will be followed by Christmas carols sung by the Temecula Valley Children’s Chorus, refreshments, hot chocolate and a visit by Santa and his helpers.

"All this merriment, along with the time honored tradition of lighting the City’s Live Christmas Tree, is a great way to bring cheer to your holidays."
