Prescription Discount in Riverside County

Paying for prescription medication is difficult. Today more than 90% of American seniors have a prescription drug expense yet health insurance medication coverage remains sporadic. The roll out of the Affordable Care Act will make more people eligible for prescription drug coverage. However in the meantime, Riverside County residents can get a major break on their medication expense through a county drug discount initiative.

Free of charge to county residents, the Prescription Drug Discount program leverages the buying power of the county’s many residents to negotiate lower rates for program participants; an average of 20% lower. While not all pharmacies participate in the program, the discount is valid at 9 of 10 drug retailers nationwide. There is no charge to participate in the discount program and no limitation on how much you spend or how many prescriptions you choose to fill using the card.
