My Morning Epiphany: I LOVE the rain

The rain can wash away more than debris. It can be a metaphor for washing away as Zig Ziglar would say, "stinkin' thinking".

On December 13th in my Daily Practice time the rain was beating ferociously on my window. At times it seemed as though it was going to break through the walls. Boy was I glad that I was not in it. Then, I shifted my thoughts to the benefits of rain and this is what came as a result.

I LOVE the rain! The way it washes away all the debris, nourishes the plants and trees. I look at it as a metaphor of like Zig Ziglar used to say, "to get rid of my stinkin' thinking". It's also a reminder for me to nourish my dream seeds.

The late Zig Ziglar made a huge impact on me. He spoke with such a southern drawl that was actually rather charming. The way in which he shared about his wife so affectionately as red head. His style was reminiscient of a fireside chat. If you are unfamiliar with his work, I strongly suggest you pick up his work and water some of your dream seeds. Didn't plan on it, but I guess in a way I'm paying homage to someone that watered my dream seeds!
