Red Carpet Rolls Out

The stars were shining at last night's Film and Music Festival Premiere Event, at the at the Towers Shopping Plaza in Temecula.

Upbeat music was pumping the air with excitement, as an enthusiastic group of stars, singers, musicians, directors, producers and screenplay writers began arriving in classic cars to the awaiting red carpet just outside the theater.

Each of these guests were greeted by eager reporters and photographers, as well as a large group of movie fans, all happily snapping pictures on this balmy evening. 

Champagne flowed in the lobby, allowing a brief time of informal greeting. At 7 p.m., we were led into theaters to watch a special screening of the film, "Losing Control."

We were treated to a special concert by Murrieta's own Xenia, a top 10 contestant in television's "The Voice". She happily announced that she had signed a recording contract with a major label.

"Losing Control" is a quirky romantic comedy about a female scientist's pursuit of love, starring newcomers Miranda Kent & Reid Scott and a talented ensemble cast, and will be coming to theaters across the country in 2012.
