Family Fun Night in Temecula Friday will feature snakes, dragons and beards.
OK, it's more like one snake and a bearded dragon.
But at the "Surfin' Safari" event, -- in the multipurpose room at the Temecula Community Recreation Center , 30875 Rancho Vista Road, there will be other small animals as well, for children and their parents to enjoy and about which they can learn.
"Typically they show the animals and get volunteers to pet the animals," Adamiak told Patch.
"It will teach them what they eat, where they live," Adamiak said.
Slated to run from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., the event will also feature crafts -- making and painting three-dimensional animals, and games, according city Recreation Supervisor Dawn Adamiak.
Temecula typically have about nine Family Fun Nights per year; each one is different, so that families do not get bored.
