Temecula Winery's Kitchen, Tasting Room Destroyed …

Bob Buster Opposed the Quarry and Deserves Your Vote

Bob Buster stood up to Granite Construction for Temecula. Now Temecula must stand up for Bob Buster.

Prayers go out to our county officials and commissioners -- you know who you are. Temecula and Murrieta have gone through the impossible for the past seven and a half years, but the war is not over yet. We need to elect Bob Buster as our Riverside County Supervisor for the first district!

Please be very aware of what is really going on here. Let make an effort to vote for him.

20 years, 2 decades, 6 figure for life pension (at our expense). Please tell me what Buster has done that entitles him to our hard earned money for the rest of his life? Kevin Jeffries has pledged that he will not accept taxpayer funded pensions. Kevin Jeffries being a small business owner, knows how to plan for his own retirement. Kevin Jeffries will bring JOBS not more taxes.

If a person wants or feels the need to run for an elected office. that person should remember why there is an elected position to begin with. Our founding fathers had the right idea, and to cement that idea they allowed districts to vote a representative for those people living in those districts. Now also remember that an elected offical works for us, and if we the people don't ;ike the way they are doing things on our behalf, then we have the right to remove them from office. Also remember that every single one of our founding fathers died pennieless and broke becuase of all their efforts and money support to the American Independance movement. There are many ideas that are around today and one two that I strongly support and urge others to take up the charge are: To have every single elected offical pay for thier own fuel cost because none of them do.-and- That people in the public offices that are elected can only work thier up, not down and not to another equal ranking or pay rate position. Please repost this is your are sick and tired of being sick and tired.

A comment about that dang quarry! Did you know that the quarry would possibly empty hazards into the Santa Margarita River, a rivershed that has been placed off limits to everything because of the attempt to restore it back to a native Steelhead River. That and the fact that some gold depsoits are to be found all throughout the canyon along with Native American Remains, California History, and many other fine areas of outstanding natural beauty. Did I mention the Golden Eagles that live there? Yes, the quarry would bring jobs, but from where and for who? You most likely have to be a union worker or the friend of a friend who knows somebody. So the bottom line is NO! If I can't visit that area, which is part BLM and part National Forest and a lot of private land, then neither can they. Go away quarry barons, we don't want you here in Temecula. That's all I have to say about that.

Jeff, I believe it was the progressive party that allowed for direct election of state representatives. To become even qualified, officials have to take civil service tests that are not easy. Our founding fathers were pretty weathly people...lol but had the brains to shape a nation.
