Tribute Service for Larry Robinson to Be Held Friday

Temecula musician and music store employee Larry Robinson will be remembered during a tribute service Friday, April 19.

A celebration of life and tribute will be held for musician Edward Lawrence "Larry" Robinson from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, April 19 at the Temecula Community Recreation Center Outdoor Amphitheater, 30875 Rancho Vista Road, Temecula.

Robinson, 64, was a well-known local singer/songwriter who died March 23 after he was found beaten and bound, the victim of an apparent robbery the night before at Pete's Music & Guitar Shop in Old Town Temecula, where he worked for several years.

A Fallbrook resident, Robinson was known to play at and host open mic nights for venues in Temecula, Fallbrook and San Diego. In recent years, he had recorded two solo albums.

Police have yet to announce a suspect or suspects in his death.
