he father of Terry "JuJu" Smith Jr. shares his gratitude for the community of volunteers who looked for his 11-year-old son over a nearly four-day period in early July before what are believed to be his remains were found in a shallow grave behind the boy's Menifee home.
Terry Smith, Sr., a West Virginia resident who flew out in hopes of retrieving his son's remains, made the remarks during a brief public memorial service held Thursday evening in the outdoor amphitheater at Lamb's Fellowship in Lake Elsinore.
The boy's half brother, 16-year-old Skylor Atilano, has been charged with murder in the case.
