I'm sorry, I didn't see this incident, however, I feel your pain. I have a BRAND NEW car that already got a ding in the parking lot right on the center rear bumper, a 6" scratch along the front passenger fender well, and a ding right by the rear passenger fender well. Irks me to hell that I finally got a Brand New car, and all of that happened within 1300 miles. Grrrrrrrr! People do NOT have respect for others, nor their possessions. I now park hell and gone away from everyone else and get my walking exercise.

@CF & Anke, I feel your pain. Two contributing factors beyond the obvious selfishness of the people doing the damage. First, parking stalls are too small. Second, people suck at driving and parking. About the only thing you can do is choose your parking far away and pray for the best.

Agreed ChrisG. And heaven forbid that you park way out in No Man's Land and then take up two spaces because you don't want to get hit, dinged, etc. That just makes people WANT to screw your car up, thereby again not having the courtesy to leave your possessions alone!

Anke, you might want to check NR and the stores around it for video taken at the time you think it happened. There might be something visible. If the damage is more than $500 a police report should be written and that might help you gain access to any video available and help your insurance company track them down.
