LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Bob Buster Is 'the Man'

Bob Buster, who made a lasting impression on residents when he voted against the Liberty Quarry project, deserves Temecula residents' votes, says one local.

Although I am not in his district, I feel obligated and inspired to write about Bob Buster, the “man.”

I have read the many letters in the newspapers about positive, admirable accomplishments of Supervisor Buster throughout his years in office. Friends who live in his district speak of him with pride and affection. He is labeled a “man of integrity”.

In meetings over the years, I have seen his consistency and demeanor; he listens, he cares, he is committed. He is not afraid to say exactly how he feels and why.

My most recent experiences with Supervisor Buster, from LAFCO to the made lasting impressions.

Bob Buster is an honest man. He tells the truth and never wavers in his convictions. During the last hearings, I saw a man with heart who cared about people, not just his own district, but he reached out to the small community of Rainbow as well with his concerns about the quarry.

I will forever be grateful to Bob Buster. Abraham Lincoln says it best. “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power.”

Bob Buster has that character.
