Rancho Water Imposing Ineffective, Dangerous, and Expensive Requirement on All Residential Properties Half Acre or Greater in Size

Rancho California Water District, which serves the City of Temecula, portions of the City of Murrieta, and unincorporated areas of southwest Riverside County is beginning to aggressively enforce their ordinance No. 2009-10-1 which speaks to the requirement of water customers to install backflow devices on their property to protect the district’s water system.  There are serious public safety concerns associated with these RP Backflow Valves which Rancho Water is requiring customers to install at their expense.....
