RIP-OFF: Chaparral Charging Students $450 For 18 Days of Summer Football Camp!
Chaparral High School is charging $450 for 18 days of "training", 3 hours a day. While Great Oaks only charges $225 and they have a much better football program.
Players that participate in the Summer Camp have an advantage when being selected for positions and play time. But why are the prices so high? Many parents can not afford these egregious fees. This is very biased "rich mans" advantage, completely unfair to the athletes that can not afford it.
Most schools in Southern California do not charge a fee for Summer Camp for THEIR OWN ATHLETES. Some do charge, but a much more affordable rate of $100.
Ripping off the parents is not a good way to start off the sports season.
