Pechanga's Indian Child Welfare Plan: GET RID OF INDIAN CHILDREN

We've read stories about Baby Veronica, the Cherokee child adopted out to white parents, whose birth father wanted his parental rights restored.  This was an Indian Child Welfare Act issue and parental rights.

he Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians has done more harm than the adoptive parents of Veronica who loved her.

The Pechanga Band of Luiseno Indians, led by Mark Macarro, wiped out the history of 150 Indian children from his own tribe, via two large disenrollments we have been discussing on this blog for six years.

One family, descended from Manuela Miranda was disenrolled when it was determined that a FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD, cut her ties to the tribe when she moved away from the reservation to be with her adult sister.   WTF?   When can a FIVE YEAR old make that determination?
