The coroner’s office has not yet released the identity of the person who died in a structure fire east of Temecula today.
Fire officials received a report of the blaze at 6:57 a.m. in the 58700 block of Yaw Street, located about 25 air miles east of the city in unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Anza.
“First arriving engine company reported a double-wide manufactured home, well-involved with fire,” said Jody Hagemann, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman.

The blaze was contained at 8:20 a.m., but one person who was in the home did not survive, Hagemann reported.
Twenty-one firefighters were called to the scene, Hagemann said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
