At about 3 p.m. Oct. 20, Bostic was allegedly driving a 2006 Hyundai westbound on Rancho California when he is suspected of entering the intersection at Jefferson against a red light, Magnan said.

Bostic allegedly struck a 2008 Hondra CRV driven by the Jains, who were making a left-hand turn to travel east on Rancho California, Magnan said.

The Hyundai and the Honda CRV were found resting on their wheels in the eastbound lanes of Rancho California Road, Magnan said.

"This investigation is still ongoing and alcohol and/or drugs do not appear to have been a factor in this collision," Magnan said.

Anyone with information that would assist the officers investigating this collision was encouraged to call the Temecula Police Department's Traffic Division at 951-696-3000.
