A 55-year-old Temecula man was out on $50,000 bail Thursday after his arrest on suspicion of arson in connection with a non-injury fire that caused $150,000 damage, authorities said.
Ronnie Duvall James was booked into the county jail on suspicion of arson at an inhabited structure; he was arrested by California Department of Forestry rangers, according to jail records.
He was ordered to court to answer charges on Dec. 20.
It took 25 firefighters a short while to contain the blaze, reported at 6:13 p.m. Tuesday -- and limit it to one bedroom of the two-story home, fire officials said.
