Attack at Sports Bar Results in One Arrest, One Broken Nose

A Temecula man is accused of hitting a Sun City man in the face with a beer glass inside Hard Hats on Friday night.

A 33-year-old Temecula man was arrested Friday night, suspected of striking a Sun City man in the face with a glass beer stein at Hard Hats Sports Bar and Grill, according to police.

The 48-year-old male victim was treated for a broken nose, cuts and abrasions. He told police that the attack was unprovoked.

The victim was able to see the license plate of the suspect’s vehicle, and a Temecula police officer patrolling in the area spotted it and arrested the driver, Michael Osborne, at 8:40 p.m. The attack was reported at 7:20 p.m.

Osborne was booked into the Southwest Detention Center for felony assault with a deadly weapon. According to online jail records, Osborne was released Saturday on $25,000 bail. He is due in court on April 12.
