Big Inflatable Helicopter Piloted By Santa Stolen From Temecula Family

“What a Grinch to steal this helicopter. My wife talked to the homeowners and their two young children are heart broken.”

Neighbors along Katie Court in Temecula are upset after it was discovered that a holiday scrooge stole a beloved Christmas decoration right out of a front yard there.

“My neighbors … had a very unique inflatable Santa helicopter stolen from their front yard,” reported Christopher Howard, who asked that Patch help spread the word about the illegal and unholiday-like act.

The large decoration was pilfered sometime Tuesday night in the 44300 block of Katie Court, said Howard, who described the item as being a blow-up helicopter with blades that spin and a Santa in the cockpit.

“The whole copter lights up,” Howard explained.

“My children love walking by this house every night to admire my neighbor’s great holiday display,” he added, saying that the home won an award this year for its festive décor. “What a Grinch to steal this helicopter. My wife talked to the homeowners and their two young children are heart broken.”

Anyone with information about this crime should contact the Temecula Police Department at (951) 696-3000.

Meanwhile 9,000 miles away . in Africa, hundreds thousands of black children , covered in flies, sick with distended stomachs are starving slowly to death. Have a tranquil Holiday season .

Nicole what was stolen from your yard? and what area do you live in? I don't know if I am going to put mine out if this is going to start happening.

Wow! What does children in AFRICA 8000 miles away have to do with the pleasure of putting lights and decorations out for the holidays? I am shocked that there are people here like you that have no regard for peoples feelings and put it on "starving" children in far reaching places. What makes you think that the same people that have their decorations out DON"T make contributions to organizations that feed starving children? You really take the cake, no pun intended since you would give the piece to Africa, for being the real true life person that I don't want to live anywhere near,

We lived in Temecula (Hwy 79 Pechanga Pkwy) 1 year ago and our inflatable was stolen from us also. Our lil. Ones were so sad... The sad thing is, that it was stolen in daylight and outside our front yard. It was even in front of a neighbor, she couldn't stop the two guys. The next day, as I was going to catch the 15 north I saw a black truck that matched the description loaded with a bunch of Christmas decorations. The authorities said we needed proof. There is a group that goes around neighborhoods stealing your precious, hard earned valuables. The Grinch did steal our Christmas! All of our decorations came down.... Thats just sad. It might of been 1 of mine but when you add all the people they've done this to, I'm sure there are many more. I hope you all have a Merry Christmas. GOD BLESS!

You're just a nut...plain and simple. Light up another bowl and blaze on brother. Don't forget to check your mailbox for the government benefit checks.

Thx Robert. I wonder if the big talker "GC" has sent any help to Africa, or here in our own back yard for that matter, like I have? If he's a man, at all, he will post his personal efforts of his personal efforts, or at least contact Pastor Gary at the Lambs Fellowship, to help send supporters their to help! My guess is that this guy only talks, and is little action. So what is it "GC"? R u a man of action or a....

It's sad when others, in a bad place, reach out to make others sad too. The biggest problem with these borderline third world countries, like Africa, Mexico..., is that their governments steal all the life blood from their people and leave them starving or worse. Even Our money sent there, is mostly, 80-90%, just stolen. Go their and c for yourself, I did.

There was a Mickey Mouse stolen in our neighborhood. The owner's put a sign where Mickey once stood. The thieves are also going through the neighborhood stealing the subdivision markers that are made of brass. I know the economy is bad but seriously people, did your parent's not tell it was wrong to take what is not yours?!

response to Rodger cambell: Dude I support worthy causes in my country America. But there are so many scams out there I select just two . The Salvation Army and Research for the Blind. The Blind live is a universe of DARKNESS. Bye the way I don't understand the low life bottom feeder (s) who stole that holiday scrooge.. First catch the thief take the thief to the center of OLD Town. . Hang a sign round its neck, that says I am a thief I stole the holiday scrooge . OH but that would be against the LAW, and the politically correct crap that perviate America. Enjoy a tranquil day ...dude

Hey R C dude . City of Christchurch in New Zealand hit by a 7.9 quake.. Did the New Zealand people ( 99% white from England) whine and moan .. NO they got on with rebuilding and asked for no money from outside. They are now back in business. Haiti hit with a 7.8 quake. The Haitians panicked . And $5 billion sent to them . But today Haiti is still a shambles with tens thousands living in tents .The Haitians are brown people, and no one knows where the $5 billion went.. No I am not racist I am stating facts. I didn't see any nation sending my country $5 billion to help with the SANDY storm back east. that hit a few weeks ago.
