Blaze Destroys Family Garage

The fire was reported shortly before 2:45 p.m., Tuesday, in the 41000 block of Avenida Verde.

A non-injury fire destroyed the garage of a Temecula home Tuesday.

The blaze was reported shortly before 2:45 p.m., in the 41000 block of Avenida Verde, according to Cal Fire.

Arriving firefighters spotted smoke coming from the garage of the single-story family home, Cal Fire's Melody Hendrickson said.

“Due to aggressive firefighter efforts, the fire was contained to the garage at approximately 2:54 pm,” Hendrickson wrote in a news release.

No one was displaced by the blaze.
