CHP Draws 29 Blood Donations

Its goal was 20, so 29 was a nice surprise, an official says.

A blood drive hosted by the CHP and Red Cross brought in 29 donations, says  CHP spokesperson Nathan Baer.

The drive was held today at the .
The goal was to get 20 donations, so getting 29 donations was great, Baer said. "We are definitely calling this a success," he said.

The "Battle of the Badges" blood drive will continue until Feb. 18, Baer said.

"It’s not too late to support your favorite agency. When you donate at a Battle of the Badges blood drive, you get to choose what agency you are supporting," he said.
