Preliminary investigation indicated that Slagle was traveling at an undetermined speed on a 2013 Harley Davidson eastbound on Cajalco, west of Alexander Street, said CHP Riverside Area Spokesman Travis Monks.

A 42-year-old Temecula man, identified by the last name of Helfrick, had stopped in a 2005 Marathon RV at a stop sign on Alexander Street, south of Cajalco, before attempting to cross Cajalco directly in the path of the motorcyclist, Monks said.
