The Anza woman who died after she crashed her SUV into oncoming traffic Wednesday afternoon has been identified.
Sandra Dunham, 69, died at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday at Desert Regional Medical Center after being airlifted from crash wreckage on Highway 371 and Lake Riverside Drive in Aguanga, according to the Riverside County Coroner's Office.
The two-vehicle crash was reported at 1:19 p.m. According to officials, for unknown reasons Dunham veered into oncoming traffic and crashed into a pickup truck.
One other person sustained minor injuries in the collision, according to a report from Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department.
Dunham was wearing a safety belt but had to be cut out of the wreckage.
The crash is being investigated by the California Highway Patrol.
