"Wade was such a great person. He always put family first, always helped out friends, made great sacrifices so people would be safer when they vacationed, and was extremely hard working, honest, caring, and responsible," Gold said. "The world suffered a tremendous loss today, and our deepest condolences are with Wade's family."

Brent was riding a burgundy 2006 Yamaha Venturo motorcycle south on I-15, between the #1 and #2 lanes, at approximately 40 mph, according to a report from the California Highway Patrol. When traffic ahead slowed, he was unable to avoid hitting a Mazda 3 in front of him, the CHP report stated. Upon impact with the car, he lost control of his bike and was ejected onto the road where another motorcyclist on a black 2006 Suzuki was unable to avoid running over him, the CHP reported.
