A crash at Domenigoni Parkway and State Route 79 slowed traffic Thursday afternoon southwest of Hemet, California Highway Patrol personnel said.
The crash was reported before 3 p.m. Jan. 2 involving a pickup and a sport utility vehicle at the intersection of Domenigoni and the 79, also known as Winchester Road, according to the CHP.
One person was reported limping out of a vehicle and another person was reported trapped in one of the vehicles, according to the CHP.
Cal Fire personnel were on scene assisting the trapped person by 2:55 p.m., and at the same time someone was reported running with suitcases to another vehicle, according to the CHP.
As of 3:30 p.m. a portion of the intersection remained blocked, causing delays in the area, and two tow truck crews were at the scene or en route to clear the roadway, a CHP dispatcher said in a phone interview with Patch.
