Deputies Investigating 'Suspicious' Death After Man is Found Dead in Temecula

Sheriff's officials tell Patch the man was found unresponsive inside a car Friday night.

Sheriff's investigators were searching for clues Friday night into the death of a man who was found in a parked car in Temecula.

According to Riverside County Sheriff's Corporal Robert Martinez, deputies got a call around 7 p.m. regarding an "unresponsive male" in the 28000 block of Pujol Street.  That's in an area south of Rancho California and Diaz roads.

"Deputies arrived on scene within minutes and we're currently conducting an investigation of a suspicious death," Martinez told Patch by phone around 11:30 p.m.

DailySoCal.com was at the crime scene Friday night, and their images show a navy blue sedan parked to the side of an unpaved road, with police tape blocking it off.

Martinez told Patch that the sheriff's department will release more information on the incident as it becomes available.
