Fallbrook Man Suspected of Exposing Himself to Teen Girl
Patrick Christopher Harvey, 26, was arrested in connection with an incident in which he allegedly drove up alongside a 16-year-old girl who was on her way to school and fondled himself.
A man was jailed Wednesday for allegedly exposing himself to a teenage girl as she was walking to school through Fallbrook three months ago.
Detectives arrested Patrick Christopher Harvey, 26, in the early afternoon and took him to Vista Jail for booking on suspicion of felony indecent exposure, according to sheriff's officials.
Harvey pulled up alongside the 16-year-old student on Winterhaven Road, near South Mission Road, in a white Mercedes-Benz about 10 a.m. Feb. 27, and slowly drove next to her for a short distance before stopping the car, Sgt. Patrick Yates said.
The girl then looked into the vehicle and saw that Harvey allegedly had his pants off and was fondling his genitals while staring at her. When she grabbed her cellphone to call authorities, the man drove off.
Yates did not say how investigators identified Harvey as the alleged perpetrator.
