Fallbrook Woman Missing, Marine Arrested

A 22-year-old woman was last seen with a Camp Pendleton Marine, who was arrested during the weekend on an unrelated gun charge.

 

A 22-year-old woman last seen in Fallbrook may have fallen victim to foul play, according to a homocide investigator.

Brittany Dawn Kilgore was last seen on Friday night dressed up for a night on the town, and a security guard found her cell phone in the Gaslamp Quarter of Downtown San Diego, San Diego Sheriff's homocide Lt. Larry Nesbit told the North County Times.

"We believe there is a strong likelihood Brittany is the victim of foul play," Nesbit told the paper.

She was last seen with Louis Ray Perez, 45, a Camp Pendleton Marine who was wanted on suspicion of stealing an AR-15 rifle, a military weapon. Perez was found and arrested as part of that unrelated investigation during the weekend.

A friend last saw Kilgore at 5 p.m. in a dark purple evening gown with a glittery floral pattern. She is about 5-foot-8, 140 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.
