Fire Burns in Aguanga

At least five acres were destroyed in the blaze, fire officials say.

More than five acres were burning in Aguanga today.

The blaze was reported at 12:27 p.m. on Sage and Wilson Valley roads east of Wine Country.

When firefighters arrived, they found five acres burning medium fuels, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.

Thirteen engines, two helicopters and four air tankers worked on the fire. The weather was 84 degrees with 12 mph winds, according to Jody Hagemann of the fire department.
