Fire Leaves 2 Homeless

The Red Cross was called to assist the displaced residents.

A fire damaged a manufactured home in Anza this morning, but there were no reports of injuries, authorities said.

Two people were displaced by the fire, which was reported at 2:30 a.m. at a double-wide home in the 37500 block of Aroura Lane, said Melody Hendrickson of the Riverside County Fire Department.

A total of 24 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was had fully engulfed the home by the time they arrived, Hendrickson said. The fire was declared controlled around 3:30 a.m., she said.
