Fire Quickly Stopped At Aguanga Home

Fire engines keep the trouble confined to a garage

Six engine crews, numbering 21 Riverside County firefighters, stopped a garage fire at an Aguanga home on Wednesday, July 18, from turning into a more serious blaze.

The fire began around 9:45 a.m. near Lake Riverside Drive and Forest Springs Road and the fire crews had the flames under control within an hour, a fire spokeswoman said.

Damage was contained to the garage and no one was injured, according to Riverside County Fire Department. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
