Forgery Suspect Arrested In Temecula

Michael Daniel De La Torre, 31, is in custody and scheduled to appear in court Monday.

A man with a prison record has been arrested in Temecula on suspicion of a string of crimes including forgery, grand theft and burglary, according to jail records.

Michael Daniel De La Torre, 31, was picked up by Temecula deputies at Rancho California Road and Jefferson Street Thursday around 4:30 p.m., according to the records.

He was booked on suspicion of several felonies including burglary, forgery/possessing a fake ID, forging bills/notes, receiving stolen property, grand theft and having prison priors.

De La Torre is being held at Southwest Detention Center in lieu of $75,000 bail and is due in court Jan. 28.
