Head-on Crash Victim Dies

The Temecula resident veered into oncoming traffic and slammed into a semi-trailer truck.

A Temecula man who crashed into a semi-truck on Rancho California Road died, a coroner announced today.

Cristobal Juarez-Mendoza, 44, died at 7:03 p.m. Tuesday at Inland Valley Medical Center in Wildomar, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Coroner's office.

The driver was wearing his seatbelt when he crashed, the coroner stated in a press release.
