The crash was reported on Interstate 215 at Murrieta Hot Springs Road.
A head-on crash on Interstate 215 left two people wounded today, according to a sheriff's deputy.
The crash happened at 1:09 p.m. on the northbound onramp from Murrieta Hot Springs Road, according to a deputy on the scene. Two people had head injuries and were bleeding, one had a broken arm, the deputy said.
Murrieta Police, firefighters, the CHP and ambulances were called moments after the crash. The two victims were expected to be hospitalized, a sheriff's dispatcher said.

The ramp was closed 10 minutes after the crash, according to a dispatcher.
