Hemet Police Search for Missing 13-Year-Old Girl

Brittany Davis was last seen at about 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 18, according to Hemet police. "Brittany told her mother she was going for a walk and left home with her bicycle, backpack and dog," police stated.

Hemet police asked for the public's help today in finding a 13-year-old reported missing Sunday afternoon.

Brittany Davis, who lives South Santa Fe street, was last seen there about 2 p.m. Sunday, Hemet police said.

"Brittany told her mother she was going for a walk and left home with her bicycle, backpack and dog," police stated.

Brittany was described as white, about 5 feet 5 inches and 200 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark-blue Mickey Mouse T-shirt and blue jean shorts; she was carrying a pink-and-brown backpack.

Her bicycle is a yellow boys' Trek, and the dog is a Chihuahua.

Brittany's mother described her as immature for her age and said she had run away before, police said. Anyone who has seen Brittany was asked to call police at (951) 765-2400.
