Three people were injured in a car crash that blocked most of Interstate 15 today.
The crash was reported at 6:02 p.m. on the southbound side, just south of Rancho California Road, according to a CHP official.
Three people were injured, and Cal Fire was running a cut-and-rescue operation to free one of the victims. The trapped victim was in a white Scion. A black Honda and a silver pickup truck were also involved.

Two people were rushed to a hospital with major and one with minor injuries, said Temecula Fire Capt. Aaron Martinez.
The far left, middle and far right lane were shut down, snarling traffic until 7:07 p.m., when they were reopened, according to a CHP dispatch log.
