Wow, unbelieveable the amount of drunk drivers out there each night and these are only the ones caught. :/ Basically do NOT drive after like 8pm or you are putting yourself in danger.

You can get their names from Local Crimes. Web site. Temecula has tons of drunk drivers on the road 7 days a week and people on their cell phones. They are all selfish people who have no regaurd for human life .I say put up DUI check points more often and have a hot line for cell phones while driving. Its the same danger.if caught doing either. They should lose their lic .its cheeper to call a cab then to drink and drivepeople and how are you all going to feel if you kill some one because you thought you could drive? Or you were texting and didn't see the red light......

Oh yes, please, please, set up more DUI check points to add to the already deplorable traffic conditions here in Temecula! And there already is a "hot line" to report drunk drivers; it's known as 911! Grow up!

Four DUI's .... caught......
But what was the "on-road driver" vehicle population in those areas, during the time the cops were arresting these DUI drivers . Was it 1,000, 5,000, 12,000, 20,000 vehicles in that period in those areas.. Once again an example of the dumbing down of the masses and misuse of reality . When I drive I do not drink and I drive a very fast car. I am totally against drivers who drive after drinking. And I detest driving on our geriatric speed Freeways, where selfish drives block all lanes , and will not move over when a fast driver is behind them. Pathetic.... Having said that, this cop report is so far removed from logistics -statistics of reality, it confirms again how our bureaucratic controllers, continue to scare the masses.

Gal Cann,
If they catch 7 a night on regular patrol, and 4 at a check point once a month I think that is fabulous. That is 11 drunks taken off the road who did not kill someone. Sure there is another 50 drunk drivers in the town each night(just a number folks) but if we get 7 its better then none. That is like saying I am going to bomb the kitchen for ants and not do the rest of the house, but eventually you will get the rest of them in the house ;)

they NEVER catch even near 4 at checkpoints. They are a waste of tax payer money as well as annoying - look at the stats! They do a much better job on patrol as you can very well see from these stats!

All comes down to getting the "GOLD" Balanced right in the big City Hall right? We areRead More broke we are broke! We have how many more million dollar residents, ranches, farms who pay taxes, how many more business's, triple, quadruple, on and on that pay taxes, and some very large business's at that for YEARS. Yet Murietta and Menifee with just the few they have can manage to not only put in side walks, AND ALSO ACTULLY Listen their residents, instead of call them names like Paul has been, concerns and respond to them. Hell we are just now getting some attention to our driving issues with running red lights, speeding, not stopping at stop signs, driving drunk, high, or wreeklessly causing deaths and serious injuries to walkers, bike riders, skate board, scooter riders, wheelchairs, motor bike riders, and other cars. But how many lives were lost or severly disabled until we just now the last 2 weeks have been giving traffic details for different areas, cell phone details, etc. Lucky to get some sidewalks finished in 10 years if someone doesnt figure out where our "Gold" is we all pay in. And stop calling names people at the City meetings to Paul or anyone else trying to get our City to do what its there for. By the time someone in your own family is killed they will be laughing at you for standing up asking for sidewalks right? Just like on the "Patch" comment areas, always calling names instead of sticking with your fellow Temeculites and getting us something DONE! Before we loose more lives
