UPDATED: Lake Elsinore Teen Found Safe

NOV. 3 UPDATE: According to a source close to the family, Daniel Chairez has been found safe. The report was received at 10:33 p.m. Saturday.

ORIGINAL POST: Friends and family are asking the public to be on the lookout for Daniel Chairez, 15, who allegedly ran away from his Lake Elsinore home Oct. 31.

There is concern the teen may be getting into trouble.

His grandmother has this message about Daniel:

"We believe he ran away and is being assisted by some friends. He is mis-guided and made a poor decision by doing this, but he is a good loving young boy. We are very worried and just want him home safe. Please if you live in the Lake Elsinore area keep your eyes out for him and call the police if you see him. Thank you."

According to Daniel's mother, Amber Evans, the teen was last seen Halloween afternoon wearing jeans, a black shirt and a red flannel.

Evans said a police report has been filed.

Anyone with information about Daniel's whereabouts is asked to contact the Lake Elsinore Sheriff's Station at 951-245-3300.
