Vincent Astone of Temecula and Jeremy Miller of Minnesota were arrested Thursday evening when a cache of Ecstasy pills were allegedly found in their possession.

A traffic stop in Old Town Thursday led to the discovery of $1,000 in Ecstasy pills, sheriff's officials said.

Minnesota resident Jeremy Miller, 36, and Vincent Astone, 47, of Temecula, were taken into custody and were to be booked into the county jail on suspicion of possession and transportation for sale of narcotics, according to Riverside County sheriff’s Sgt. Steve Fredericks.

The vehicle was stopped about 7:15 p.m. on Old Town Front Street, near Second Street, Fredericks said.
