I don't know about south of Temecula, but from Murrieta north, we really need to see more CHiPpies on the road. I recently drove to Oregon and back and saw almost no CHP presence along interstate 5. The heard needs more cowboys cracking the whip to keep traffic moving along in the right direction. Great to see these officers get recognition for pulling over the loose canons just waiting for the time they collide with you or me. It's strange how congress can put "military" spending "off the table" for cuts, yet our state legislatures are always cutting funds to keep well qualified CHP officers out on our roads fighting the war that's closest to us all - the war against highway death. As anyone who follows Patch knows, this takes a tremendous tole among the residents of this area - more than Al Queda (if there are even any of them left) ever did, that's for sure.

Of the 284 suspects arrested how many were bought to a conviction?
