Man, 18, Arrested; Accused of Sex With Teen
Temecula teen was under age 14, authorities allege
An 18-year-old Riverside man suspected of having sexual contact with an underage teenager was behind bars today.
Manuel Espinoza Jr. was arrested around 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at his Van Buren Boulevard home, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Kevin McDonald. Espinoza was investigated in June for having sex with a teen under 14 in Temecula, McDonald said.
Espinozawas booked at the Southwest Detention Center in French Valley on suspicion of contacting a minor for the purpose of committing a sexual offense and having unlawful sexual contact with a minor under 14.

He was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, with a court appearance at the Southwest Justice Center in Murrieta set for Friday, according to McDonald and online sheriff's booking records.
