A Murrieta man allegedly exposed himself as he watched a girls soccer game in Temecula.

Michael Thomas allegedly committed the act at about 7:05 p.m. Tuesday near Ynez Road and Equity Lane, at the west end of Harveston Community Park, said sheriff's Sgt. Woods.

A passerby called to report the alleged indecent exposure, Woods said.

Thomas left the scene before officers got there, however, the reporting party was able to tell officers which direction Thomas had gone in.

Officers found Thomas a short distance from the park, Woods said.

He was identified by witnesses and arrested for indecent exposure, Woods said, and later booked at Southwest Detention Center.

According to jail records, his charges were reduced to a misdemeanor riding a bicycle while intoxicated. He was cited and released on $2,500 bail. He is due in court Dec. 19.

The Temecula Police Department continues to investigate the incident and similar incidents, and encourages anyone with information to call 951-696-3000.

WTF. That park is tough to get to and should be hard to find from people that don't live in the community. I guess these type of dirtbags are just good at zoning in on kid safe places. No one is safe use common sense, parents. If he did what is alleged I hope he gets what is coming to him.

Why were his charges reduced from indecent exposure to misdemeanor bike riding!? Who is responsible for this decision? I, for one, would like a name.
