UPDATE: Man Arrested For Allegedly Exposing Himself Cited With DUI

A Murrieta man allegedly exposed himself as he watched a girls soccer game in Temecula.

Michael Thomas allegedly committed the act at about 7:05 p.m. Tuesday near Ynez Road and Equity Lane, at the west end of Harveston Community Park, said sheriff's Sgt. Woods.

A passerby called to report the alleged indecent exposure, Woods said.

Thomas left the scene before officers got there, however, the reporting party was able to tell officers which direction Thomas had gone in.

Officers found Thomas a short distance from the park, Woods said.

He was identified by witnesses and arrested for indecent exposure, Woods said, and later booked at Southwest Detention Center.

According to jail records, his charges were reduced to a misdemeanor riding a bicycle while intoxicated. He was cited and released on $2,500 bail. He is due in court Dec. 19.

The Temecula Police Department continues to investigate the incident and similar incidents, and encourages anyone with information to call 951-696-3000.
