Man Attempts Robbery at Temecula Convenience Store

The incident reportedly occurred Friday night at a store in the 30000 block of Temecula Parkway.

A suspect left empty-handed after attempting to rob a Temecula convenience store Friday night, police said Saturday.

The suspect reportedly entered the store in the 30000 block of Temecula Parkway at 10:39 p.m. and demanded money from the cash register. While the suspect attempted to remove the money from the register, a brief struggle ensued between the clerk and the suspect, according to police.

No money was taken from the store and no weapon was seen during the incident, according to police. Officers searched the area with the assistance of a police helicopter, but were unable to locate the suspect.

Employees at the store described the suspect as a 6-foot-1, 200-pound white male about 25 years old with facial hair. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, black shirt, black socks and dark shorts.

The investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with further information about the incident is asked to contact the Temecula Police Department at 951-696-3000.

All business owners need to keep a shotgun behind counters plus when they pass the gun laws the robbers wont know who will shoot them. Just like it happened in wisconsin. 70 yr old woman pulled a small pistol out of her purse and shot the robber.

I think it is that Circle K all the press enterprise said was that it was a convenient store. Sooner or later these idiots are going to go down. I think they won't release the name of the store because it's still under investigation.

I went and shot my pea shooter AR 15 the other day....I hit the target 10 times with little holes. I then switched to my Binelli semi auto 12 gauge. I shot 3 times and sliced the target in half. I noticed many other shooters had stopped because my Binelli was so loud. So I said, " This is the gun that should be banned!.. Ha!
