Jury Hung in Murder Trial

They reached verdicts for two counts, but they are unable to decide on another, court records show.

A jury was hung today on one count in the trial of a man accused of murdering a liquor store clerk in Old Town.

Marcus Fletcher, 26, was charged with two counts of murder and one counts of attempted murder stemming from two incidents in 2005.

He was charged with murder for allegedly killing a store clerk and attempted murder for shooting at a customer during a robbery at Rancho Liquor.

The jury reached a verdict on those charges, though they did not yet announce what the verdict is, according to court records.

Fletcher was also charged with murdering a man in San Diego who was allegedly a member of a rival gang.
