Camilo Almaraz was found unharmed and in good health and was reunited with his family, according to police.

A mentally impaired man has been found safe and unharmed in Yucaipa.

Camilo Almaraz was last seen June 8 at 2 p.m. when he walked away from his home to go to the store in the area of Winchester and Nicolas roads.

When he did not return, a call was placed to police and by Sunday afternoon the public was notified that a search was on for at-risk man.

When he left for the store from his home in the 44600 block of Arbor Lane, Almaraz did not have a vehicle, cell phone or medication with him, though he did have a small amount of money, according to a news release from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.

Because Almaraz sometimes is not aware of his surroundings, there was heightened concern.
