Motocross Rider Suffers Major Injuries, Airlifted from Track

Firefighters received a call at 10:21 a.m. Saturday about a rider down at the Cahuilla Creek Motocross in Anza.

A rider crashed Saturday at the Cahuilla Creek Motocross in Anza and was flown out for treatment of major injuries, a fire spokeswoman said.

Firefighters received a call at 10:21 a.m. about a rider down at the venue along Highway 371. The 51-year-old motocross rider was flown out to a hospital, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.

His medical condition was not immediately known, Hendrickson said.
