A crash on the 15 Freeway Monday morning in Temecula trapped a motorcyclist who had to be rescued, authorities are reporting.
The crash was reported shortly after 6 a.m. on the southbound side of the freeway, south of Temecula Parkway, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson.
The motorcyclist was trapped under a truck and had to be pulled from the wreckage by firefighters, Hendrickson reported.
At approximately 6:30 a.m., the motorcyclist was freed and transported to a hospital with moderate injuries, Hendrickson said.
No other injuries were reported.
The motorcyclist's identity was not available.
