Two men from Temecula were taken into custody Wednesday, following the service of search warrants in Old Town by sheriff's gang investigators, officials said.
Angel Pena, 22, of Temecula, was to be booked on suspicion of possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine for sale, maintaining an unlawful place, possession of paraphernalia and a parole violation.
Pena is a documented gang member, according to sheriff's investigators.
George Deloera, 37, of Temecula, was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, being under the influence of a controlled substance and committing a felony while out on bail.
The warrant was served at homes in the 41800 Block of Fourth Street Wednesday morning, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Vance Stolte.
Investigators had received a tip that the men were involved in methamphetamine sales.
A search of the homes yielded a shotgun, methamphetamine and narcotics paraphernalia; items consistent with drug sales were also found, the sergeant said.
