One Dies in Rural Wreck
A crash on Highway 79 at Caprice Road left one person dead, fire officials said.
A two-vehicle crash left a person dead and two injured, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
The crash was reported at 3:16 p.m. on Highway 79 South and Caprice Road just east of Temecula, said Jody Hagemann of the fire department.
Firefighters used the Jaws of Life to free people trapped in the wreckage, and an air ambulance lifted a patient, she said.

The other victims suffered moderate injuries, Hagemann said. The cause of the crash was unavailable today.
